VOX is Hiring an intern!

June - December 2021

15-20 hours per week (remote)


The intern will assist the Executive Director and Administrative Coordinator with the creation and execution of a plan for the organization’s 25th Anniversary season (fiscal year 2021-2022). Activities will include: assisting with database management; creation of season tickets and subscriptions through the ticketing platform; assisting the Marketing Coordinator in the creation of a marketing plan, calendar, and materials for promoting the season. The intern will attend board and board committee meetings in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of, and develop hands-on skills in, nonprofit arts management.



  • Strong organizational skills;

  • Effective writing and communication skills;

  • The ability to learn quickly, handle multiple tasks, take initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision;

  • Familiarity with standard computer software programs, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (familiarity with design software is a plus but not required);

  • Working knowledge of the latest social media platforms, especially Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube;

  • Knowledge of website design platform WIX is helpful, but not required;

  • Familiarity with choral music and/or the performing arts is helpful, but not required.
