Jolie Hughes

Jolie Hughes is beginning her fourth year as an Alto 2 in VOX. She is a pianist and educator who has always loved to sing. She earned her undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara and her Masters in Piano Performance from Boston University, singing in choral groups along the way. While working as a marketing executive at Ogilvy & Mather in New York, she sang with the Blue Hill Troupe in their annual Gilbert and Sullivan productions.
After relocating to Southern California, Jolie worked as a music teacher in the Palos Verdes Peninsula School District. As a board member of the Peninsula Committee Los Angeles Philharmonic, she focused on music education and fundraising for the orchestra. Jolie currently works at Chadwick School as an Associate Teacher and maintains a private piano studio.
