Arts Administration & Marketing Intern

Position Title: Arts Administration & Marketing Intern

Position Overview:
Learn what it takes to run a successful nonprofit music organization and work with a team of smart, dedicated, and passionate people. The intern will work primarily remotely, approximately 15-20 hours per work from June 2025 through February 2026. 


Qualifications:

Applicants MUST be currently enrolled as a college student or a recent graduate (2025) and either study or reside in LA County. Additional preferred qualifications include:

  • strong organizational skills;

  • effective and inclusive writing and communication skills to connect with the diverse stakeholders of VOX Femina (donors, singers, and collaborators);

  • the ability to learn quickly, handle multiple tasks, take initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision;

  • familiarity with standard computer software programs, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (familiarity with design software is a plus but not required);

  • working knowledge of the latest social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook Instagram, TikTok and YouTube;

  • knowledge of website design platform WIX is helpful, but not required;

Compensation:

The intern will be paid $17.87/hour for their 400-hour long internships, minus applicable taxes. This rate is decided on by the LA County Department of Arts and Culture and is non-negoitable.
