Choral Scholar Program
VOX’s Choral Scholar Program offers qualified high school SSAA singers in grades 10-12 the opportunity to rehearse and perform with VOX, including one-on-one mentorship by VOX’s Associate Conductor for 12 weeks. Participation in VOX’s June concert marks the culmination of the program.
This is an extraordinary opportunity for young singers to learn from top professionals in the field, to rehearse and perform side-by-side with some of LA's finest choral singers, and to perform in a professional venue in front of hundreds of appreciative audience members. Participants receive a certificate of completion and letters of recommendation for college applications.

Application and Recommendation
To apply for VOX's 2026 Choral Scholar Program, please complete the form below, which includes a recommendation form to be completed by a school Choir Director or Private Voice Teacher. Both of these forms must be completed and returned to VOX by Monday, February 9th, 2026.

Auditions
Auditions will be with VOX’s Associate Conductor, Lori Marie Rios and will consist of a voice quality/range check, a student presentation of a prepared piece (an art song, aria, or choral excerpt), singing scales a cappella, a short sight singing passage, and a brief interview.
