We are very excited to announce that we are partnering with Planned Parenthood Los Angeles for our March concert, Our Children, Our Hope. Through songs, stories, and narration, VOX will explore a mother's hopes and dreams for her child's future.
With a mission to provide convenient and affordable access to reproductive health care and sexual health information, through patient services, education and advocacy, Planned Parenthood Los Angeles saw over 234,000 patients last year, with 78% of those living at or below the federal poverty level. Planned Parenthood Los Angeles also reaches nearly 50,000 women, men, and teens each year through their sexuality and family planning education programs.
"We could not be more excited to partner with such an important organization," said Rebecca Wink, VOX Femina's executive director. "Through their continued advocacy, particularly for women and teens, we feel that their mission is an extension of VOX's mission to give women voice."
