VOX is excited to announce a new addition to our staff - Emma Benatar, who is joining us in the newly created role of Education Program Manager.
Emma, who will be singing with VOX for the first time this season as well, joins VOX with a wealth of both music education and choral conducting experience, including in her other current position as music teacher and assistant to the Interim Visual and Performing Arts Coordinator at the Acton-Agua Dulce Unified School District. She earned her BM in Music Education, with an emphasis in Choral and General Music from San Jose State University.
Emma will be working hand in hand with VOX's Assistant Conductor Lori Marie Rios on existing programs like the annual Concert for Youth and Choral Scholars program, as well as spearheading our two exciting new programs this year, the Justice Choir program and our Youth Choir Festival. We are so thrilled to have her as part of the VOX team. Welcome Emma!
