VOX's April concert, and one collaboration in particular, received the attention of BroadwayWorld, a website dedicated to news of Broadway and the performing arts from around the world.
Music They Wrote, VOX's concert dedicated to 25 years of commissioning new choral works for women's voices, featured collaborations with numerous artists, including composer Christina Whitten Thomas and lyricist Marian Partee, dancer Jannet Galdamez, and award-winning filmmaker Helen Mendoza, but it was the collaboration with Los Osos High School Treble Choir, Serenata (pictured above with their director and VOX singer Bethany Encinas), that made the headlines.
